And the snow is snowing!! Good morning, friends!
We’re cozy, we’re inside, we’re snuggling up. So grab some cocoa and check it outtttttt. These Jersey Girls are officially in our new headquarters.
January has been all about settling into new spaces. From moving JGT out of the dungeon closet to upgrading to a new apartment, I’m fully in my Bloomfield era.

I like getting to know a new town on foot. That is, taking wildly long, aimless walks. The other day, I got lost in the backstreets of Bloomfield and popped out on Broad Street at Gencarelli's Bakery. A classic, I’m told.
I can already tell this new home is allowing me (us!) to expand, explore, and expresssss.
Need a moving company? I got you.

Fabio, my hero.
Moving is a big project. Finding a moving company? Somehow feels even harder. So let me help you out.
I had an amazing experience with NJ Great Moving & Storage. Saad, their service rep, was incredibly reassuring and helped me lock in a binding quote before the move (no hourly stress). He even answered my seven follow-up calls (I had a lot of questions, okay!?)
On move day, the crew arrived early and got right to work. Fabio, the team lead, was so sweet! He didn’t just move bins and couches; he helped set up my space in a way that made it feel like home immediately.
Towards the end of the move, he told me, “I move people every day. You’re my 500th move!” And showed me selfie after selfie of all the smiling women he’s helped move. “Wow, you help a lot of ladies move!” I said. “Yeah. I’m allergic to men.” He said with a wave of his hand like a true feminist.
The entire move took under three hours. When they left, I felt calm, grounded, and unbelievably grateful, which is not something I ever thought I’d say after moving.
Highly recommend. Call Saad for a quote and ask for Fabio to lead your move!
Feng Shui that makes sense

Power position/Power Puff
Yas, I’m one of those. I truly believe that the flow of your house impacts the flow of your life. Feng Shui, baby. And what better time to let in all that good energy?
So, I found a podcast interview about Feng Shui. The guest was Marie Diamond, a world-renowned Feng Shui master who advises CEOs, entrepreneurs, and celebrities on how to shape space for success and momentum.
In the episode, Marie talks about a lot of practical Feng Shui principles. The one that stuck with me the most? Having your desk against a wall is energetically like hitting a wall with your work. With clients, career growth, income, projects, and opportunities.
So… when I got home from my walk, I flipped my desk. Lol, yes. Immediately.
I shifted it into what she calls a power position—facing the door instead of a wall. The idea is that you can command a space better. (We also want to be seated in this position during interviews or big business meetings.)
And honestly? I felt the difference immediately.
Challenging client projects fell into place. I felt more confident on calls. And now my copywriting business is in a true flow state. I feel proud when I look into my office and excited to create.
This is a boss desk. Not a worker desk.

If you’re wired but tired, too
As you can see, there’s been a lot of change in my life lately. And a lot happening in the world, too.
When I notice myself feeling wired but tired, struggling to slow down, or jumping from one thing to the next, I know it’s time to tend to my nervous system.
That’s when I book a 1:1 session with Jyoti Yoga & Healing.
Julia’s work is in a word: beautiful. She blends somatic healing, breathwork, and sound bowl healing to help the body release stored tension and return to a sense of safety and balance.
It feels like floating. It feels like coming up for air. It feels like finding your footing again.
I always sleep better. I always feel solid. And I always feel safe. Seek out her work if your body needs the memo that it’s okay to rest.
Tata, for now
Off to shovel! Love y’all <3
